O Ispa – Instituto Universitário tem aberto concurso para a atribuição de uma Bolsa de Investigação (BI) na área da Psicologia, no âmbito do projeto “Strengthening Affective Bonds”, financiado pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian no quadro do eixo II da iniciativa Growing Minds, Vinculação Afetiva e Desenvolvimento. A bolsa será desenvolvida no William James Center for Research, unidade de investigação do Ispa dedicada ao estudo científico do comportamento humano.

O projeto centra-se no fortalecimento dos laços afetivos entre cuidadores e crianças, recorrendo ao programa de intervenção VIPP-SD, uma abordagem de vídeo-feedback comprovadamente eficaz na promoção da parentalidade positiva e da disciplina sensível em crianças dos 1 aos 6 anos. O bolseiro selecionado participará na recolha de dados junto de crianças, pais e professores, na elaboração e tratamento de bases de dados, na análise de resultados e na divulgação científica do projeto junto de públicos especializados e do público em geral.

A bolsa destina-se a candidatos com mestrado em Psicologia e Psicopatologia do Desenvolvimento e terá a duração prevista de oito meses, com início em maio de 2026. As candidaturas podem ser submetidas até ao dia 27 de abril de 2026, às 23h00, hora de Lisboa.

Ispa Opens Call for 1 Research Fellowship in Psychology on Affective Bonding and Development

Ispa – Instituto Universitário has opened a call for applications for the award of a Research Fellowship (BI) in the field of Psychology, within the scope of the project “Strengthening Affective Bonds”, funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation under Axis II of the Growing Minds – Affective Bonding and Development initiative. The work will be carried out at the William James Center for Research, Ispa’s research unit dedicated to the scientific study of human behaviour.

The project focuses on strengthening affective bonds between caregivers and children, drawing on the VIPP-SD intervention programme, a short-term video-feedback approach with a proven record of effectiveness in promoting positive parenting and sensitive discipline for children aged one to six years. The selected fellow will be involved in data collection with children, parents and teachers, in the development and management of databases, in the analysis of results, and in the scientific dissemination of findings to both specialist and general audiences.

The fellowship is open to candidates holding a Master’s degree in Psychology and Developmental Psychopathology and is expected to last eight months, beginning in May 2026. Applications may be submitted until 27 April 2026, at 11:00 PM (Lisbon time).
