O Ispa – Instituto Universitário tem aberto concurso para a atribuição de uma Bolsa de Investigação (BI) na área da Psicologia, no âmbito do projeto “Understanding and Responding to Grief-Related Needs: A Differentiated Community Approach”, financiado pela Fundação La Caixa. A bolsa será desenvolvida no Applied Psychology Research Center Capabilities & Inclusion (APPsyCI), unidade de investigação do Ispa orientada para o estudo das capacidades humanas e da inclusão social.

O projeto centra-se na compreensão das necessidades de adultos mais velhos em processo de luto, testando um modelo de intervenção comunitária organizado em três níveis: literacia em luto, autoajuda individual e grupos de autoajuda moderados. O bolseiro selecionado participará em todas as fases do trabalho de investigação, com tarefas que incluem o recrutamento e acompanhamento de participantes, o apoio à implementação das condições de intervenção, o tratamento e análise de dados quantitativos e qualitativos, e a contribuição para a produção de publicações científicas e materiais de disseminação.

A bolsa destina-se a candidatos com licenciatura e mestrado em Psicologia, ou mestrado integrado em Psicologia, com classificação final igual ou superior a 13 valores, e terá a duração prevista de 12 meses, com início em junho de 2026. As candidaturas podem ser submetidas até ao dia 21 de abril de 2026, às 23h00, hora de Lisboa.

Ispa Opens Call for Research Fellowship in Psychology on Grief and Community Intervention

Ispa – Instituto Universitário has opened a call for applications for the award of a Research Fellowship (BI) in the field of Psychology, within the scope of the project “Understanding and Responding to Grief-Related Needs: A Differentiated Community Approach”, funded by the La Caixa Foundation. The work will be carried out at the Applied Psychology Research Center Capabilities & Inclusion (APPsyCI), Ispa’s research unit focused on the study of human capabilities and social inclusion.

The project examines how older adults experiencing bereavement respond to loss, testing a three-level community intervention model comprising grief literacy, individual self-help, and moderated self-help groups. The selected fellow will be involved in all phases of the research process, with tasks ranging from participant recruitment and follow-up to supporting the implementation of intervention conditions, processing and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and contributing to scientific publications and dissemination materials.

The fellowship is open to candidates holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, or an integrated Master’s in Psychology, with a final grade of 13 or above (out of 20), and is expected to last 12 months, beginning in June 2026. Applications may be submitted until 21 April 2026, at 11:00 PM (Lisbon time).
