No próximo dia 9 de novembro às 11h00 na Sala de Atos do Ispa, Hod Orkibi (PhD, School of Creative Arts Therapies, University of Haifa, Israel / MA in drama therapy, New York University, NY, USA / APA representative for the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts – Division 10) vai dar um Workshop com o tema Therapeutic Change Factors in the Arts Therapies – Emerging Frontiers of Research.
Abstract:
The creative arts therapies (CATs) is an umbrella term for healthcare professions that use the creative-expressive process of art making and its product within a therapeutic relationship. Whereas ample evidence suggests that the CATs have a positive impact on a range of outcomes, it remains largely unclear how and why the CATs lead to therapeutic change. The presentation will discuss the findings of an international scoping review that highlights which therapeutic features of CATs are unique specific factors and which features are generic common factors across psychotherapies and will mark avenues for further research development. After the presentation, there will be time for discussion with the participants, focused on research projects.
