Está aberto o concurso para atribuição de uma bolsa de investigação (BI) destinada a estudantes, no âmbito do projeto “EduIn&Out – Qualidade na educação de infância: construindo pontes entre as rotinas e o ambiente dentro e fora da sala”, com referência [2023.15201.PEX]. O projeto é financiado pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) e desenvolvido no Ispa – Instituto Universitário.

Com a referência EduIn&Out_016_BI_2025, a bolsa tem uma duração prevista de quatro meses, com início estimado em janeiro de 2026. O trabalho será desenvolvido no Centro de Investigação EDUNOVA.ISPA, sob a orientação científica da Professora Doutora Mónica Pereira.

Perfil dos candidatos

São elegíveis estudantes com licenciatura em Educação ou áreas afins, inscritos num mestrado integrado, mestrado ou num curso não conferente de grau académico associado a unidades de investigação reconhecidas.

São valorizadas competências em:

• Recolha de dados qualitativos (grupos focais, observações em contexto educativo)
• Transcrição e análise de dados
• Utilização de software como MAXQDA ou equivalente

Ispa opens call for Research Studentship in Early Childhood Education

Ispa – Instituto Universitário has opened a competitive call for the award of one Research Studentship (BI) for students, as part of the project “EduIn&Out – Quality in Early Childhood Education: Building Bridges Between Routines and the Environment Inside and Outside the Classroom” (ref. [2023.15201.PEX]). The project is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

The studentship, reference EduIn&Out_016_BI_2025, is expected to last four months, starting in January 2026, and will be carried out at EDUNOVA.ISPA, the Ispa research centre, under the scientific supervision of Professor Dr Mónica Pereira.

Candidate profile

Applicants must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related areas;
• Be enrolled in an integrated master’s, master’s degree, or a non-degree higher education programme affiliated with an R&D unit;
• Have proficiency in both Portuguese and English.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in qualitative data collection (focus groups, classroom observations);
• Skills in data transcription, organisation and analysis;
• Familiarity with MAXQDA or equivalent qualitative analysis software.

A minimum final score of 14 out of 20 is required to be eligible for the award. In case of a tie, priority will be given in the following order: research experience, motivation, and academic record.
