Research interests:

Understanding and optimising support dynamics in healthcare contexts, namely:

  • Processes of negotiation and adaptation of care, analysing how individuals influence and shape the support they receive in order to better meet their needs;
  • Caregiver well-being, identifying individual, relational, and community factors that protect caregivers’ physical, mental, and social health;
  • The impact of caregiving on close relationships, examining how caregiving affects the quality of intimate bonds.
