Instructions for Authors
The European Journal of Psychology of Education (EJPE) publishes original contributions in Psychology of Education: empirical research, theoretical and methodological
articles. Contributions should be written from a psychological perspective in the area of education.
Articles should not exceed 7000 words.
Only one copy of each manuscript (with tables and figures) should be submitted, typed with double spacing on A4 paper and with ample left and right hand margins. A e-mail
attachment file (to be sent to dipsceduc.ejpe@unibo.it) of the manuscript, with tables and figures, is also required for facilitating the procedure of peer reviewing. Authors
who wish to have papers reviewed according with “blind” procedure, should made it explicit in a separate letter, including a separate title sheet and amending
identifying references within the text of the copy submitted.
Contributions should be submitted in English.
A version of an abstract, not exceeding 200 words, should be included.
To facilitate the production of the annual subject index, authors should provide a list of a maximum 5 key words.
Authors should follow the guidelines on requirements, format, and style, as they are specified in the ongoing edition of the “Publication Manual” of the American
Psychological Association (http://www.apastyle.org/). Footnotes should be avoided wherever possible. Where tables, figures etc. are necessary, the originals should be sent
with the copy of the manuscript. Tables, Figures, etc. should be carefully drawn suitable for photographic reproductions and clear as much as possible, because they
should be reduced as for the size; they should be typed on separate sheets and sequentially numbered: Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.
Authors may expect the peer reviewing procedure to be completed within six months from receipt of the manuscript, except during the summertime (one month should be added).
Manuscripts will be reviewed by members of the Editorial Board of EJPE or by experts in the field.
The first author of an article accepted for publication will receive a proof for correction. This procedure process should not be used as an opportunity to a further revise
the manuscript. Corrected proofs should be sent as soon as possible (in any case within two weeks). The Editor is allowed to delay the publication when author don’t
meet this deadline.
The first author will receive 25 off prints free of charge.
